We woke up quite earlier and I forgot to bring my coke with me as I put it in the fridge last night. Wtfff. I needed to drink coke especially for today as today we had to took a train from Rome to Bari, From Bari to Brindisi and took a ship to Patra in greece.
Initially we did not need to go to Bari first and then Brindisi but just go to Brindisi as about 2 weeks ago we got an email from the ship company that the ship from Bari to Patra on this day was cancelled and to go to patra by ferry, we need to go to Brindisi. But, before that, we already bought train ticket. However, that train from Bari to Brindisi was quite cheap, which made me not less angry.
Bari was very like rural area. The train station was very small. Brindisi was even more like rural area. The cities in the south were poorly developed. We walked from the Brindisi station to the pier, which was quite far away and took 45-60mins. The nearer we get to the pier, the more the environment was like rural area. We went to the terminal to check in and get on the Blue Star Ferry. As we paid the cheapest fare, we sat on the deck and spent almost 16hours there but not cabin. Poor students got no choice. We just slept and ate somethings and then slept again.
