13/04 Bern, Switzerland

We woke up a bit late at 1000 because there is no valid date on the ticket. So we just went to Interlakrn ost to take a train to Bern. Once we arrived, we went to ticket office to ask what went wrong with my online ticket booking. The lady understood our problem but seems she could not be able to handle it. Then, she referred us to a station manage I guess. That Guy was more friendly than that fat Guy at interlaken oST station. He said the tciket system at the counter was different from the online ticket system. He said he could help us send us email to ask for help. But I thought that the only possible compensation we could get was only cheap ticket to other cities in Switzerland but it was useless to us because today was the last day in Switzerland. But, we still wanted to know what he could do for us.

Then, I went to the hostel first which was located very near the city centre. Then, we went to clock tower first, which was a bit like the astronomical clock in Czech.

Then, I went to Einstein house but we thought he had only lived here for 7years and so there were not many things to see here. Then, we went to Town hall and Church of Sts Peter and Paul.

Then, we went towards the garden right next to the river. Because today's weather was very good, and many people jogged, rides bicycles.

And there was a cable bridge connecting both side of river. The scenery on both sides were really amazing.. Then, we walked along the river and saw some parents playing with their children in the park. We crossed another bridge and walked a bit uphill. There were some bears sleeping under the sun within thr fences and many people just standed next to the fences and watched them.

Then, we walked a bit downlhill and took some beautiful photos.  Then, we crossed another bridge and walked towards to the city center. There was another church called Nyedegg Church. We entere it and a chore were practicing songs.

We listened to them for 10mins. The vocals of the women were really high!! The men vocal was also very great. There was a strong echo inside the church and i quite liked it. We could wven hear their voice outside the church too. We went to an upper area where we could see the view of the river and the terrance, which was amazing.

Then, we went to a church just next to it and we paid €4 to go up to the tower. We could reach to 65m of that tower, which was a bit tiring. But the view was really good and we could see the parnomia view of Bern.

Then, we went to Parliament building to see the 180view of another part of Bern, but not beautiful as before. There was a fountain at Bundesplatz and the water comes out from the holes intermittently and a lady or model standing on that area was taken photos by a photographer.

We really hoped she got splashed by the water hahahh. Then, there were some Swiss "Victoria park elderly" playing  very large size chess, the scene was really like the one in Victoria park. We discussed what to eat for today's dinner. Because we saw there was a big of rice, some magic power, cheese and we thought we could make fried rice with ketchup.

So, we did not go to the supermarket to buy things. Because it was almost 1930 and the lady at the tourist centre told me we could go to rose garden which was on the hill to see the sunset view of Bern, we walked to there. We sat on the a bench and played James Blunt music while we waited for thw sunset to come. The sunset was quite good but it was not good to be taken in the photos. Then, we expected the nice view would be quite beautiful as we saw it on some postcards. But the churches did not turn on the night and there were not many lights along the street.

The night view was just OK. Then, it was getting cold and we walked to the hostel. In the hostel, we met a Taiwan girl and she gave us 鳳利蘇. I felt surprised by her kindness. Then, we cooked rice at the kitchen but failed. The rice was quite wet and it was between rice and coggee.  But we could simply just eat it like this. We put it onto the pan, tring to fry it and we put some magic powder, ketchup and cheese. The taste was not very good but still eatable LOL. After eating, we felt something weird in our stomach.... Then I wrote diary in the common area and Tommy wrote postcard and the Taiwan girl came down and chatted with us. We found our Putonghua really bad. Mostly she knew what we said but some words I forgot how to pronounce it and she tried to guess what I wanted to say. Sometime, we even wrote it down too. She also learnt some Cantonese from us to haha. We had a very good lesson there and said goodbye to her in the end.

Switzerland was a small country, campared with Germany. There were not as many places to visit as Germany were. Most of area other than the big city was simply just residential or agricultural area. Therefore, we saw a lot of farmland and cows during the train journey. Zurich was a modern city and there were many luxurious shop for rich people. The jungfrau really impressed me because this was my first valuable and unforgettable  experience to stand on the Alpine, walk on the snow againist the strong freezing wind, make snowman with my frozen hands.
Bern was a capital city similar to Czech Ck town because it was also located on both sides of  the meander but it was of course bigger and better developed than Ck town.
Overall, I quite like Switzerland. But the price level was much higher than Germany. The ticket price was crazy too. The duration of 65€ Intercity ticket was just 1 hour but I could go to like Munich in 3 hours from Mannheim with equal price. Not considering price level, I think Switzerland was a good country to go. Bye Switzerland. Hi, ltaly!!!!!!
