The hauptbahnhof was quite beautiful. We searched for free WiFi to look for the address of the hostel. We walked for around 30 mins to get to the hostel which we found quite good. We started to do sightseeing at 5pm, which wad a bit late. But doesn't matter since there were not many places to visit here. All the maps I got from the hostel or train station were just shopping maps but not attraction map. They must be for mainland China.
We went to the Milano Cathedral, which was the third biggest Cathedral in Europe and it was very beautiful.
But I thought the Köln Cathedral was bigger. There were security guards at the entrance, checking our bags. And it costed 2€ to be allowed to take photos there. But we didn't paid it but still took pictures there. The church inside was quite beautiful. There were some beautiful windows, paintings and scrulpture on the wall.
Then, we went to a shopping street nearby where we found a lot of luxurious brand like prada, LV etc and people in those shops were mostly Chinese.
Then, we went to a castle nearby. When we got there, a black man came forward and said he gave us free handlaces. We said no and he even put it on Tommy's clothes. Tommy immediately threw it back to him. This was a trick to deceive us into paying his handlace.
The castle was nice and we couldn't get inside because it was closed already. Then, we walked to a gate which was similar to Paris. And we looked at the castle through the gate. I thought the gate in Paris will be bigger and more beautiful. It was almost 1930.
We went to St Peter and Mary church. The church was closed but it looked nice.
Afterthat, we went to nearby train station to see find supermarket. We bought 3bags of spaghetti and some meat which were quite cheap. Just 2.24€ for 2 persons. Then, we walked back to the hostel and cooked the spaghetti. The spaghetti was really delicious!!! The texture and smell were different from the German one. Even it was without any sauce, I could smell cheese from it. I would buy 10 or more bags of it and bring it back to Germany and Hong Kong.
