11/04 Zürich, Switzerland

Easter break came finally! Time really flies.

Me and Tommy met at hauptbahnhof at 0730 and took the train to Zürich. I brought my suitcase and my backpack. Because last night I was very busy about packing stuff, cooking for dinner, searching for tourist attractions,

Applying for internship, I slept at 0330 and woke up at 0630. I was a bit tired on the train and slept a bit. The train passed through the black forest and we saw a large area of forest. With the very blue sky, river and forest, the scenery was amazing. So I think May would be a good season to go there.

The train journey was about 4 hours and we got there at 1300. First we found the hostel to put our things there because again the reception was closed at that time. We got a Zurich map and started to do sightseeing.

Zurich was a city where has some rivers between some streets and a big lake. It was a bit like Amsterdam but not as many canals and river as Amsterdam had. There were four brüke in the centre.

We passed through them one by one.

First, we went to Rathaus first and the view on both of the the brücke was beautiful. The sky was blue, the water was blue too. We then went to some churches nearby, in one of which there were some people practicing some I guess Catherdral songs and they were very good!
As we passed the streets, we entered some souvenir shops and the things there were quite expenai
ve-.- we also saw some famous brands of watches. Some special watches were only sold in Switzerland for mainlander because I saw the Chinese words on the notecard beside the watches. Other normal watches were fucking expensive too.

Later, we walked to the lake which was quite large and very blue. We can see the snow mountains there which was a bit far away from here. The view was very good. I can felt the serenity of the lake.

It was about 4pm, we went back to the hostel to check in. The hostel in Zurich was quite expensive. The 6bed dorm only had 3 sockets which obvioualy were not enough. We immediately chose two beds that had sockets nearby. After checking in, we went to the museum of art to see how much it was and it was around €15, which was expenaive. We gave up and walked uphill to the University of Zürich which looked a bit large but again my university was more beautiful haha.

Then, we went to Bahnhofstrasse which had a variety of expensive brands like LV, Blurrberry, Prada etc, which obviously were for super rich people here.


































Then, we went to a Swiss casino but check-in was needed so we could not get inside. it was almost 0730. We walked back to the lake to take some pictures of Zurich evening and night view.

A Guy there told.us that the light moving on the sky was the space station on the space. Initialy I would not believe him. But, he had a timer on his iphone,which seemed calcuate how much time it would use to envovle the earth and appeared on the sky again. I then.started to believe him and we saw a space station on the sky!!!!

Then we walked back from the lake to hostel. On our way, only a church light was open only but all churches were supposed to open their lights. We waited and sat near the bank . At 2100, it still not yet open the light-.- If with ligjt, the street view would be much nicer. We gave up and back to hostel.  In the hostel, there were some free good on each floor and our floor had one bag of pasta and some salt, which was not enough.  I intended to take the meat and cheese within my handmade sandwich out for the pasta LOL and found another different food on another floors which were free too. He grabbed some tomates sause , pepper power and a piece of cheese to make pasta. We made it in Zuirch. We didn't need to buy any expenaive things here but have a kind of free dinner tonight. After dinner, we went to the lobby to get Wi-Fi and we saw a lot peop ledoing so as well. We took a bit rest and went to sleep.
