20/06 Brussels, Belgium

Woke up at 0330. Managed to wake up on time in the midnight! Walked to Victoria Coach station and took a coach at 0430 to Gatwick. Checked in, sent postcard and my bag was fine. But I forgot to buy something for my dad like a cup but there was no cup in the departure hall. I asked santi to buy one for me and give it to me in Morocco.

I have left 7£, I bought sushi hahah which was £5! If I did not need to finish all of my pound left, I would not buy it Cuz it was so expensive.  Then, I rushed to the boarding gate and got inside the plane safely.  The plane just took 45mins -.-, just enough for me to finish the sushi lol.

Finally Belgium!  I took a train from airport to Brussels Noord. Once I got out of the station, I saw some modern busienss buildings next to the station. Arrived at hostel and checked in. The hostel was quite good. Asked for a map and went sightseeing.
I went to Grand plaza where many beautiful buildings located nearby.

Then, went to Mannkein pis which was quite famous.

 

Bought a 1€ waffle nearby which was good. Then, I walked to palace of justice, which was nice and huge. Then, I took a tram to royal palace. From there, I walked downslope towards Grand plaza.

The view was quite nice! I returned to the royal palace and went to St michel cathedral where some student from King's college were playing music which was very good.

I have listened for 15mins. Then I walked to statue of unknown solider which was very tall.

 Then I walked back to the hostel. On my way, I crossed over the shopping street which was nice. I take some of my things out and took a metro to heysel where Atomium located.  The Atomium was so giantic.

Some people asked me to help them to take photos and they spoke in German to each other. I asked if they come from deutschland. I showed my Mannheim T-shirt to them. I spoke some German and gladly they could understand Haha. I tried to answer them in German too!! A Spanish couple came and asked for helping them take photos too. I spoke some Spanish and they were very happy I could speak their language. The Spanish girl also took pictures with me too! so nice of her.

Then I went back supermarket near the hostel and bought something to cook for dinner. I ate in front of a big screen playing match France vs Switzerland. Switzerland lost. I went to sleep at 0000.
