01/07 Barcelona, Spain

Today I woke up at 0900. I walked to the castell de montijui. It was on the hill and i walked for 30mins. On the way, I passed through a port, the view of which was very nice.

I opened GPS to find the shortest way to the top. I met 3 Hk people and they wanted to take a cable car to the Castel. I pointed a direction to them and kept walking uphill. The road was quite steep and tiring. I got tanned too. I paid €5 to get inside the castle.

Before that, I saw the 3 people again but they arrived her later than me LOL. The castle was used to repress people in rebellion so some canals were found in the castle. The view from the castle was really good. U could see the port terminal and airport too!!

It was very windy which was very relaxing to walk around even under the sun. I took many pictures and left around 1300.

I walked back to the centre and met Albert at the apple store. It was great to see him again in Barcelona!! He took me to a decent restaurants. I ordered a melon cheese soup, rissotto with mushrrom and pinapple with doc and mango as a dessert and a mineral water and a coffee. We chatted and he said he may come to Asia next summer. Cool! and he now needs to find a job to save money and has a exam in 2 days. He insisted buying me a lunch. So nice of him and luckily it was only €15 for each one, not that expensive.



Then he showed me around the city and we took some pictures at placa catalunya and at the port.

We said goobye to each other at the port and he went back home by train. I then headed towards the beach and the view on my way was nice.

The beach was full of people. Some were having sunbathe, some playing football and volleyball. I did not went down to the beach cuz I was not wearing flipflops and I just walked along the bench and watched girls lol. Then, I walked back to the old city area and I went to St Maria churhc first, then another gaudi's building but i just took pictures outside.

I went to a market later and I found a lot of interesting things like Spainish Ham, and I bought a fruit mix as I did not eat any fruits during my trip.

The market in each country was really interesting for tourists. Then, I walked to another big cathdral but it was closed. I walked around the cathedral and found the buidings nearby were nice.

I then walked back to hostel and cooked for my dinner. Before sleeping, I went out with the argentinen Guy, and two girls from Canada but they spoke french to a bar to have a Spanish beer. Then, around 1, we went back to hostel and I slept.
