28/02 Worms, Germany

 

Today was my birthday!!! But I felt normal, not very exciting I dont know why. Last day, my roomate and my other friend went to Pub crawl and he came back at 0230. And he gave a birthday hug. He was very nice. And we slept till 12:00 and woke up and had lunch. Today, we went to another city called Worms, which was quite near Mannheim. We and HK Mafia and Sarah's roommate Liz from Eastern Europe met at haubahnhof and got on the train, which only took us 25mins to get there. There was not tourist information centre near the train station, so we asked the staff at the train station to take a map of Worms. First, we went to quite a big church, which was the landmark of Worms. We got inside the church, which was quite big and classic and there were some sculpture on the wall which was very meticulous. We went downstairs and found some coffins, which ,I believe, once preserved the bodies  but may be now empty now. Afterthat, we took a group pictures at the front yard of the church. The German guy was very nice, he even stood on the road to try to capture the whole front view of the church. Then, we headed to another a church and a shopping mall. Me, Santiago and Anson ate ice-cream cones. I ate Monka, which was very good. Santiage ate black chocolate and tiramiu ice cream. Both were very tasty and only costed 0.9 Euro.
I love Ice-Cream !!! Then we headed back to Haubahnhof and geot back to Mannheim at 1830. Me and Santiage went to Kurfland and bought a lot of things. We then cooked things over Anson's dorm and had dinner with Lucie, Margot and Anson. Sanyam, Albert and James were already there to chatted and drank beer for sure. Thomas and Albert's friend also  came. We took instant photos with the instant camera. Sanyam was very bad that he kept scratching my hair, which a bit hurted. Afterthat, we played drink game which was quite interesring. We spin the wheel on the Ipad, When it stopped and if it pointed to some words, we needed to do that. Say, one was very bad, which was waterfall. If someone spinned the wheel and get waterfall, he or she could start to drink and the other guy next to him or her needed to drink until he or she stopped drinking. Another was called Buzz, which was to say "buzz" if the number was the multiple of four or numbers with 4. Thomas always lost in this game. Another was called True/False, which was that others needed to guess if she or he was telling the truth or not. We really had fun with each other. This was my first birthday outside HK and a lot of foreigners celebrated with me.  What a special birthday in my life!!
