16/03 Prague, Czech Republic

We took the student agency bus again back to Prague.  We got there at 1200. We took the tram back to the same hostel. We did not buy any tram tickets because there were no ticket machine in Prague and seemed no one will go check our tickets. Today, we went to finish the remaining places in the old twon square. First, we went to the municipal house. Its wall was all in block, which stander out from the rest. The streets in old town square were very Czech.  We then went to church. Its entrance is really hard to be found but once we found out where it was. It was closed on Sunday and Monday... In the centre, there was a green statute which was nice. We then went to another, which was only few steps away.

Afterthat,  we went to eat sth nearby. There was old Prague Ham which was quite expensive but looked really delicious. We bought a sausage with bread which was 60Czk. The wind today was quite strong and chilly. Any 1/5 of the sausage was blowed down the floor by the bloody wind. WTF!!! I was very hungry at that time. Luckily I brought some chocolate out. We then went to the astronomical old clock.

At 2pm, there were lots of people standing next to the clock. Because somethins (i dont know the name)  at the clock will move from one to others. We then went to Bethlehem church but we needed to pay to get inside. In our mind, no fee should be charged for just getting inside the church. So we left and went towards the Charles's bridge, a famous landmark in Prague.

There were many people selling their handmade stuff like ear rings, magnet and playing musics on the bridge. On the bridge, we could see difference between old town square and castle area. We also saw some love padlocks too. When we cross the bridge and saw many sourvneir shops on each side of the street, constructing a beautiful street view. Since we didnot have enough time to visit the whole castle, we walked back towards the old town square and looked for silome sourvneirs. I wanted to buy a T-shirt with "Czech me out" on it, which was really interesting. But it was a bit expensive and I was afraid the clothes was not of high quality. It was getting dark and we went to a Czech restaurant in the city centre called vytopia.

This restaurant has a special thing that they serve their drinks with a mini train. There were train tracks next to every table. Whenever u ordered a drink, the train containing the drinks would go to a particular ular table. But if you didn't take the drinks, the train will leave. We ordered some beers and fruit juices. We were all amazed by the train. It was really interesting to serve drinks like it. We ordered beef, chicken breast and pork jelly, which all were delicious. And the price was reasonable. We left and walked towards the Charles bridge to see the night view of castle area. The night views of the bridge and the old castle area were nice. It was really romantic for couples to stroll on the bridge. Hope i could stroll here with my girl one day. Then we were quite tired and backed to the hostel.
